| This section deals with your understanding of maps and is often called map craft. The emphasis is on the application of map craft for purposes to do with cadet use. | |
| The aim of this chapter is to enable you to: | |

find your way about the country and to recognise features on the ground and on the map. |

understand the information given on the map so that you can picture the ground, and its tactical and administrative possibilities and limitations, even though you have not seen it. |

c.
|
quickly and accurately transmit information and instructions involving movements. |
